In this movie JCVD plays a time traveling cop- but was time good to this movie? And how could it POSSIBLY connect to Sylvester Stallone?

It has been a LONG time since we covered Tim Story's first Fantastic Four movie and we've been putting it off but this week the boys look back at the 2007 sequel, FANTASTIC FOUR RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER. Is this thing as bad as you remember or is it a secret gem?

We're back in 2018 and we're on top of what is seemingly a huge hit on HULU Original Programing- MARVEL'S RUNAWAYS. How does this compare to the comics and is it worth watching if you're outside it's target demographic?

We are BACK for 2018 and we are wrapping up loose ends from 2017. This week we review the second half of Marvel's The Punisher on Netflix. We were decently positive on the first half of The Punisher but how does the second half hold up?

Here it is the end of the year and we're ringing in the new year by looking back at the year that was. On this episode the boys of HMP give out awards to all those who deserved it (both good and bad), take a gander and what the future holds and, of course, we check in on the 2017 State of Stallone.

This is it. The last review of 2017 and boy is it going to be a big one. As you might imagine STAR WARS is blowing up the box office but something is VERY different this time around. STAR WARS EPISODE VIII The last Jedi is out and critics seem to love it while fans...not so much. It's a HUGE divide. Some love it- some hate it. But the REAL question is- what do the boys of HMP have to say about it and how on Earth could it connect to Sylvester Stallone? We'll answer these questions- AND MORE- this week on HMP.

This week the boys of HMP gather 'round the ole Yule Log (is that a real thing? Has anyone ever really seen one?), get a cup of hot coco and watch another bit Christmas themed superhero goodness. This year we cover an episode of BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES entitled CHRISTMAS WITH THE JOKER (Season 1, Episode 2) in which The Joker escapes Arkham, kidnaps members of the Gotham Police Department and holds them hostage hoping Batman and Robin would come to save them. 

We also take a little time to be thankful for what we've got this year and read a few listener emails.

This week we review a movie picked by our supporters over at Patreon.com/HMP and boy, did they pick one that can divide. 1994 was a HUGE year for Jim Carrey, and THE MASK was in the middle of his HUGE exploration that would cement Carrey's place in cinematic history. But does this flick hold up or has the Carrey shtick fell by the wayside in the 90's where they belong?

This week we are back to talk the SEVENTEENTH movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe- THOR RAGNAROK directed by Taika Waititi. 

This week we review the movie our supporters voted we do- ZORRO THE GAY BLADE from 1981 staring George Hamilton. Zorro’s gay brother assumes the role of Zorro when his twin brother gets injured in battle.

This week Adam and Bruce are joined by Bruce’s cohort over on Chubby Wizard- Canada’s own, Chris Elvins to talk about Marvel’s latest offering to the television viewing public- INHUMANS. Is Inhumans more Agent of SHIELD or Daredevil- how well does it stick to the comics and is there anyone in this thing who could be related back to Sylvester Stallone?

We talked about the pilot of THE TICK on Amazon and while we didn't hate it- we did see room for improvement. And man, did Amazon ever listen! Adam and Bruce talk about those changes and if we're interested in the show continuing.

This week we are covering the movie that YOU our Patreon Supporters voted on- Weird Science. It's 1985 and John Huges is in FULL swing and this is his second film of the year- WEIRD SCIENCE. Does this 80's touchtone hold up or is it washed up?

This week Adam and Bruce talk about the 25th Anniversary of BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES. Batman the Animated Series was responsible for so many differing things and on this episode we talk about how this show changed the character of Mr Freeze forever and even CREATED the character of Harley Quinn.

It's Christmas early here at HMP (because we've got so much awesome coming to you in the month of December we had to get it in early). We kick off Christmas this year by checking out a Christmas themed animated movie- Marvel Super Hero Adventures- Frost Fight.
